"Yay, We Did It!" is a future-back-to-present planning workshop that helps teams clarify their vision, identify milestones, and build a shared roadmap. Participants do this by visualizing the successful completion of a project and imagining the necessary steps, working backwards to the present.
This format is great for project kickoffs, strategic planning sessions, or cross-functional collaboration efforts. “Yay, We Did It!” can be used at any scale. It works for gaming out potential paths in years-long megaprojects, but it’s equally useful on smaller pieces of a project, particularly ones with high levels of complexity or uncertainty.
